April was a good month for our members in the CACCA Small Color Print competition. We had three scores of 24 resulting in two Awards and one Honorable Mention. The two AW’s went to Marcia Nye for her image titled, ‘Osprey Coming This Way’ and
Ray Kammer, an Honorary Member of our Club, passed away on March 10, 2016. Ray retired with an engineering background, which he used in sales and marketing for several companies during the course of his career. He said that he did not retire, but “refocused”
In the Digital competition, Marcia Nye received a score of 24 and AW designation for her image titled, ‘Young Coyote’. In the Print competition, Steve Ornberg also scored a 24 for his image called, ‘What A Nitpicker’. In this case, 24 garnered an HM award.
